How to enable the Secure Socket Layers (SSL)?

In order to connect to ADV-Care Pharmacy secure website, you will need to have Secure Socket Layers (SSL) enabled in your browser. To do so, please follow the instructions below:



Internet Explorer
  1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu
  2. Choose 'Internet Options'
  3. Choose the "Advanced" tab. Scroll down to the Security section.
  4. Click to check mark the boxes for SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0.;
    If these boxes are already checked, close the window to leave SSL enabled (removing the checkmark disables SSL). and clicking "OK".
  5. Click the "Apply" button.

Netscape 6 or higher
  1. Select the "Edit" option from your browser's menu
  2. Go to "Preferences..." which will open a new window
  3. Double-click "Privacy & Security"
  4. Click "SSL"
  5. Click to check mark the boxes for Enable SSL version 2, Enable SSL version 3 and Enable TLS.
    NOTE: If these boxes are already checked, close the window to leave SSL enabled (removing the checkmark disables SSL).
  6. Click the "OK"

Netscape 4

  1. Click the "Security"
  2. Click "Navigator"
  3. Click to check mark the boxes for Enable SSL version 2, and Enable SSL version 3.
    NOTE: If these boxes are already checked, close the window to leave SSL enabled (removing the checkmark disables SSL).
  4. Click the "OK button.

Enabling SSL on Firefox

  1. Click "Tools" then "Options".
  2. Click "Advanced".
  3. Scroll down to the Security section of the Advanced window.
  4. Click to check mark the box next to Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0.
  5. Click "OK".

Enabling SSL on America Online

  1. Click "Internet Options" to open Internet Properties.
  2. Click "Advanced".
  3. Verify that Use SSL 2.0 and Use SSL 3.0 are checked in the Security section.
  4. Click "OK".
